Luxembourg, 24 January 2018 - INTRASOFT International, a global ICT company has successfully delivered the inhouse-developed ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) platform, as part of its ongoing collaboration with Bureau International Maritime (BIM) and the Port Autonome de Cotonou (PAC), in the Republic of Benin.
According to the terms of the February 2017 agreement with BIM, INTRASOFT developed the ECTN and will combine it with the provision of customs and maritime services for the clearance of Customs Declarations submitted to PAC. Furthermore, INTRASOFT will be responsible for the updating and maintaining the platform.
ECTN entered production on November 1st, 2017. Its architecture is based on the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
The overall aim of ECTN is to fully monitor traffic to the Port of Cotonou and have a clear picture of cargo types, loads, and values at all times.
